The Erfoud Meteorite NWA6827 is the newest addition to the extensive meteorite lineup, and it follows in the footsteps of the Chergach and Tamdakht coins, which both feature a spectacular breakthrough at the center of the impact crater, adorned with a genuine meteorite fragment, as well as the Chergach and Tamdakht coins. The copper plating on the Erfoud Meteorite coin allows it to reflect the natural color of the Moroccan desert. The crater relief is highlighted by the use of partial color treatments. The original meteorite, which weighed 1289 grams and was discovered in 2008, was the first of its kind.
