The coin is struck with Smart-minting technology, has an Antique Finish with selective coloration. The coin's reverse depicts Hansel and Gretel holding candies. The wicked witch, depicted with red evil eyes, and the inscription "FEAR TALES" – the series' title – are emblazoned on them. The iconic gingerbread house and the inscription "2021" – the year issue – are on the right. The obverse of the coin depicts the Palau Coat of Arms, a deep and dark forest.
