Polonia and Germany in 2022 The 1 oz silver round is the fifth coin in the Allegories series from Germania Mint.
On the front of the coin, Polonia and Germany are shown as young, beautiful women. In the past, people thought that the female figure that represented the Kingdom of Poland was holy.
She is holding a big shield with an eagle on it in the art of the Germania Mint (symbol of victory and strength). Since the first Polish city was built, the eagle has been a part of our flag.
Lady Polonia wears a crown on her head, which is a sign of royalty, while Germania wears a branch of an oak tree, which has been with her since the beginning of the series. Both heroes stand tall and close to each other, showing that the two cultures are equal and friendly.
The previous series said that the image on the back is the coat of arms, which stands for moral principles and good values. Germania was a place in history, but it was never an official country.
Because of this, we decided to make our own version of its coat of arms. Its symbols and design came from our creative thinking, but they were made in accordance with the rules of heraldry.
