The New Zealand Mint is continuing its Mortal Combat Chibi Series with the release of a new coin that features Raiden! Raiden, also known as the God of Thunder, presides over the Earthrealm as its ruler. The well-known warrior stands out in the crowd because to his iconic blue vest and white robe. His straw hat has a shaded design that creates the illusion of it being in three dimensions. It is positioned low on his head, revealing his stunning eyebrows and sparkling blue eyes. On the reverse side of the Chibi Mortal Kombat 1 oz. Shaped Silver Coin, the character Raiden is featured. In this wacky and colorful illustration, the God of Thunder is depicted wearing white robes over a blue vest and topping his head with a hat made of straw. In order to create the illusion that the hat is three-dimensional, it has a shading pattern on one side. On the obverse of the 2022 1 Chibi Mortal Kombat Raiden 1 oz silver coin, the image of Queen Elizabeth II is included. This effigy was designed by Ian Rank-Broadley and depicts the Queen in right-profile relief while wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara on top of her head. The obverse field of the coin also bears the coin's hallmarks, which are engraved there. This coin has a weight of 1 Troy ounce, which is equivalent to.999 fine silver.
