In Greek folklore, the Ceryneian hind was a legendary animal that lived in Ceryneia Greece and appeared as a huge female deer, bigger than a bull, with brilliant antlers like a stag, hooves of bronze or brass, a "dappled hide", "exceeded expectations in quickness of foot" and grunted fire.
